Equipment
We utilise only the most state of the art gear to get the job done, while achieving the highest production values possible. The equipment we use depends on the nature of the project. We can shoot either on
film or video as the situation demands. Here's some of the gear we typically use:
Panasonic HVX 200 Video Camera
Supports a variey of formats including: in DVCPRO HD (P2) 1080i, 720P, DVCPRO 50 at 480i,or DV at 480i. The great thing about this camera is its 24 frame-per-second "film look".
Aaton LTR
This is the Super 16mm film camera Dave used to shoot Borealis and others.
Arri SRII
Another Super 16mm film camera that Dave has shot many films with, including "On The Rails In Red".
Final Cut Pro HD
Most of our productions are edited using Final Cut Pro on a Mac. We also have the option to use Avid-based PC systems.
Rates
Our rates are designed to ensure your complete satisfaction with the product. We make films to be seen and used over and over, not shelved. Some companies in town may quote you a slightly cheaper rate, but
when it comes to filmmaking, quality counts.
